Duties & Responsibilities

Prerequisites:

• The photographer is expected to use his own camera, microphone, light, etc
• The photographer respects and abides by Islamic Relief’s code of conduct, including PSEA, child protection, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The photographers are expected to deliver high-resolution photos of the project, short Broll’s, testimonies that include local leaders, rightsholders and staff members), and case studies.
• Follow up/home visit at least 3 rightsholders who received the project support, and document their feelings about the support they received, with their families in each target area of the project.
• Capture written or audio informed consent of rightsholders and local leaders where applicable.

Note: All information, whether documentary, audio, digital, notes, images, clips, etc, belongs to the client (IRAF). The information shall not be disclosed to the public nor used in any way without the client’s written permission in line with the national and international copyright laws applicable.

Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s in journalism, social science

Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ work experience in photography, Media and Communication.

• Strong Command on English, Pashto/Dari

• Working experience in the targeted provinces and familiar with concerned community, geography and culture.
