II. Purpose of the service
The Data Visualization Consultant will provide services to the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit (RAM) with activities related to the automation and visualization of data from the remote monitoring strategy, through the design and implementation of interactive dashboards.
III. Service Activities The Data Visualization Monitoring Consultant will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
• Initial technical alignment meetings with RAM team
• Weekly meeting to report on progress and coordinate with the RAM team
• Definition of automated data feed routes in the various projects monitored by the RAM unit
• Design of automated measurement of remote monitoring indicators • Development of interactive dashboards in PowerBI or Tableau
• Development of user and dashboard management guides
• Presentation of a final report with recommendations for maintaining the data automation and visualization system, as well as for generating future ones.

V.II. Qualifications
• Professional in social sciences, administration, nutrition, economics, statistics or other relevant field
• It is desirable that the candidate has studies in Design, Management and Project Management
• It is desirable to have studies in project monitoring and evaluation courses
• Proven experience in designing dashboards for data visualization
• Experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring volunteer training and development processes
• Intermediate level English desirable
• Knowledge in the use of instruments for collecting information through quantitative instruments will be valued.
• Knowledge and skills in impact reporting.
• Good interpersonal skills, communication and networking abilities
V.III. Experience
• At least 7 years of experience in monitoring and evaluating social, development, or humanitarian projects.
• Experience in designing and developing dashboards for public agencies and/or entities, NGOs, or international cooperation organizations.
• Database management and handling, information consistency, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative information
• Experience in reporting
• Experience in developing dashboards
• Handling of data visualization platforms such as Tableau and/or Power BI • Knowledge of statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA, SAS or others
VII. Service budget and payments
The service is covered at all costs and will be paid to the consultant in three installments, totaling S/. 21,013.26.
VIII. Supervision
The consultant will coordinate their activities and deliverables with the WFP Peru RAM unit, through the volunteer monitoring and management assistant or with the unit head.
Conditions and terms
The consultancy will be conducted using a results-based management approach. The consultant will be responsible for adhering to security policies. All information handled and generated during the consultancy process must be treated as confidential. No information, tools, policies, etc., may be shared with third parties without prior authorization from the Program Representation in Peru. The consultancy will be provided at all costs, following the dates and amounts indicated in the budget section. All designs, reports, and other documents prepared by the company under this service will become the property of WFP Peru as the beneficiary entity, with all rights reserved. The supplier is obligated to maintain and safeguard strict confidentiality and absolute confidentiality regarding all WFP Peru documents and information to which it has access in the execution of this contract. It is understood that the obligation assumed by the supplier refers not only to the documents and information designated as “confidential” but also to all documents and information that, due to this contract or related to its execution, may be obtained by any means by the supplier.
