Job Description

  • The Nurses will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services.
  • including preventive care, health education.
  • monitoring patients’ health conditions, administering medications.
  • operating medical equipment, performing minor medical procedures.
  • and advising patients on their illnesses and care.
  • Makes round with consultants and ensures that patient requirements are met.
  • Ensures that the crash cart has been checked daily and all drugs and equipment are available and in good working condition.
  • Conducts a spot-check on every patient daily, to ensure that the Initial assessment Form. Nursing Process Record, The Vital signs chart, Patient Education Record and the Input/output chart is completed.
  • Ensures that quality performance targets are met and to rectifies areas of sub-optimal performance.
  • Attends relevant Mortality and Morbidity meetings and ensures that active follow-up is done with the recommendations and conclusions from there-in.
  • Ensures that all infection control practice is up-to-date and in line with set standards and practice.
  • In collaboration with the Infection control, ongoing spot-checks on all aspects of Infection Control.
  • Adheres to clinical policies in nursing care delivery and makes every effort to expand skills.
  • Assumes responsibility for personal development and learning.
  • Attends to any other related task as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

SPECIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
•    Education:  Nursing
•    Work Experience: At least 2 years relevant.

Skills:
•    Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
•    Able to work independently and can take initiative
•    Flexible team player.
•    Languages: Fluency in English and Local Language(s).

Personal Characteristics:
•    Tolerance, Flexibility, Honesty and Being cautious.
