ActionAid is a global non-governmental organization committed to poverty and injustice elimination in the world. Established in 1972, ActionAid has worked with the most vulnerable groups of people for more than 50 years, empowering them to assert their rights and establish sustainable livelihoods. With activities extending to 45 countries in Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe, ActionAid helps over 15 million individuals to gain access to food, education, health, and influence decisions that impact them.

How We Work

ActionAid operates on a partnership-based approach, collaborating with over 2,000 local organizations worldwide to maximize impact. Our operations are carried out on three levels:
