Company Description
Afghanistan Social and Legal Organization (ASLO) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-partisan organization committed to the advancement of sustainable development, social justice, and humanitarian assistance across Afghanistan. Established in 2013 by a group of educated and experienced Afghan volunteers, including women, men, girls, and boys, ASLO has been at the forefront of empowering communities and improving lives.
Initially, ASLO was focused on awareness initiatives for girls and women who had been victimized by war and aid to Afghan war victims. Over time, its mandate expanded to encompass a broader range of development activities, ranging from rural rehabilitation to legal aid and access to justice.
ASLO operates on a five-year strategic plan (2021-2025) on the basis of its vision and long-term commitment to the development of Afghanistan. ASLO is registered with the Ministry of Economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan under registration number 2852.
